Addressing those holiday cards

I’ve spent countless hours addressing holiday greeting cards and part of that time includes searching for correct zip codes. I know the town someone lives in, but that five or 9 digit code is sometimes too much for my brain.

The USPS has made it simple to find zip codes based on town and address – until I find the zip code app for iPhone, here’s the link:

Local zip codes for this area:

Wellesley – 02481 and 02842

Babson Park – 02457  (PO Boxes – Babson College)

Needham – 02492 and 02494

Weston – 02493

Dover – 02030

Natick – 01760

Wayland – 01778

Waltham – 02451, 02452, 02453, 02454 (PO Box), 02455 (Must use North Waltham – PO Box)

Newton – too many to list.

Now realizing that I’ve lived in two of these towns and should know these by heart, and I’ve worked in another for five years.

Also, found an interesting holiday greeting tip from Martha Stewart – which may or may not help you this year (too late?)
