Coffee drinkers rejoice! According to a recent study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, people who drank four to five cups of coffee a day lived longer compared to those who drank one or less. These findings apply more to women than men, but men still benefitted.
Women who drank four or more cups reduced their likelihood of death by 16% and men who did by 12%. One thing to keep in mind is that this was an observational study, not a clinical trial. You can learn more here.
