April 22, 2016 marks the 46th anniversary of the Earth Day movement that has been inspiring passion and action toward environmental issues since 1970. The Earth Day Network’s main goals for this year’s Earth Day and the future include planting 7.8 billion trees, divesting from fossil fuels, and making cities entirely renewable. This movement strives to protect the Earth for our generation and beyond.
