Oral Health and Pregnancy

This fact sheet comes to us from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health: Office of Oral Health. A mom-to-be’s oral health is very important as the baby develops inside the womb as well as after the baby is born.  We encourage all pregnant women to take extra care of their teeth and gums and see the dentist to discuss any pending treatment.  Regular teeth cleanings are also VERY important during pregnancy and may be scheduled in more frequent intervals.
