Looking to create durable, well-fitting individual or multiple tooth restorations? Using precise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) technology, we can help you make the restorations of your dreams!
Beginning in the 1970’s in Europe, CAD/CAM has been used to build dental restorations using computer and imaging technologies. The CAD/CAM system has three main parts: a scanner, a design software, and a milling machine. The scanner helps convert solid models into digital data, the design software can modify the original digital model, and the milling machine builds the designed model with the material you want to use, which is bonded to your mouth.
From these images of restored front teeth and molars, you can see how amazing your teeth can look with a little help from our new CEREC Omnicam! Because not all of us can have perfect teeth and many of us have chipped teeth or teeth with fillings, which are often made of metal materials that could cause additional tooth decay and problems. With this new technology, you can easily replace these fillings and broken teeth and make them look as good as new.
A major advantage of CAD/CAM technology? While traditional tooth restorations can take several days and visits, you can have a beautiful smile in just one visit!
