Spring is almost here!

There are a lot of events coming up in Wellesley and the surrounding area that may interest you.

March 26 (Friday) – 3rd Annual Heritage Day Celebration at Wellesley Middle School auditorium, 6 pm – includes production of “Our Story” by OrigiNation Cultural Arts Center

March 27 (Saturday) – Bates Elementary School Rock-N-Roll Auction at Regis College

March 27 (Saturday) – 3rd Annual Heritage Day Celebration continues at Wellesley Middle School from Noon to 6 pm, hosted by Wellesley High School, the WHS African American Studies Class, and the Wellesley METCO program.

March 27  (Saturday) – Wellesley High School Class of 2011 Junior Auction Fundraiser from 7:30 – 9:30 pm at Wellesley High School cafeteria.

March 27 (Saturday) – Earth Hour 2010

April 2010 – Oral Cancer Awareness Month – Vizilite Plus Oral Cancer Screenings

April 9 (Friday ) – Fiske Elementary School biennial auction

April 10 (Saturday) – The Wellesley Community Children’s Center Fun Run at Wellesley College

April 19 (Monday) – Patriot’s Day and the Boston Marathon – Our 5 Seaward Road location is right next to the marathon route.

April 22 (Thursday) – Earth Day 2010 – We’ll be giving out tote bags and are planning a special Earth Day event.

May 1 (Saturday) – Newton-Wellesley Hospital Charitable Foundation Gala

May 8 (Saturday) – Wellesley Mother’s Forum Truck Day – Sprague Elementary School parking lot from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

 May 9 (Sunday ) – Mother’s Day 2010

May 22 + 23 (Saturday + Sunday) – Wellesley’s Wonderful Weekend – We’ll be in the parade and participate at the picnic in the park.

June 20 (Sunday) – Father’s Day 2010

March 6 (Saturday) – “A Pot Full of Wishes” to benefit The Make-A-Wish Foundation at Coogan’s in Boston.

March 7 (Sunday) – Community Health Fair at Newton-Wellesley Hospital – Free screenings!

March 17 (Wednesday) – St. Patrick’s Day! Council on Aging concert

March 19 (Friday)  – Dr. Ali is speaking at the Wellesley Council on Aging about links between oral health and overall health.  Click here for more info.
