Ejaz Ali, D.M.D. — Dr. Ali graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and established Wellesley Dental Group in 1997 with his wife, Dr. Femina Ali. He is highly skilled in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, and attends advanced dental trainings to improve his technique and craft. He is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. During his free time, Dr. Ali enjoys travelling and spending time with his college aged children, Zarah and Zann.
Femina Ali, D.M.D. — Dr. Ali earned her degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and joined her husband as they started Wellesley Dental Group. She has trained alongside Dr. Ejaz Ali in many restorative dental programs and has branched out into pediatric dentistry. Dr. Femina Ali has a caring approach and considers all of her patients as friends. She really likes to get involved and help the community as a member of several local organizations, and served as president of the Wellesley High School PTSO.
Van Orenstein, D.M.D. — Dr. Van grew up right down the street in Newton, MA. After attending Newton North High School and the University of Vermont. He completed his dental degree at The University of Pennsylvania and his pediatric dental specialty at UCLA. His favorite part about being a pediatric dentist is seeing the smile on a young person’s face after doing a great job at the visit. Dr. Van is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is one of a small number of pediatric dentists to complete this additional degree of recognized excellence in pediatric dentistry. Additionally, his two year residency in pediatric dentistry gave him extensive experience working with children and adolescents with special needs, sedation dentistry, state of the art technology, and the most up to date research in the field.
Ghazwan Ghazi, D.M.D., Periodontist, M.S. — Dr. Ghazi graduated from Boston University School of Dentistry in 1992. He practiced as a general dentist in Boston from 1992 – 1994 and received his special training in Periodontics and dental implants from The New Jersey Dental School along with his Master’s degree in 1997. Dr. Ghazi has been on the faculty of Harvard School of Dental Medicine since 1998 where he teaches clinical periodontics and dental implants to the post-graduate residents. Dr. Ghazi has been practicing periodontics and dental implants in the Boston area since 1997. He is also a Diplomate of The American Board of Periodontology.
Emad Abdallah, D.M.D., Orthodontist, M.S. — Dr. Abdallah received his doctorate degree, certificate in Orthodontics and Masters of Science in Temporomandibular Joint disorders (TMJ) and Orofacial pain from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston Massachusetts. The American Board of Orofacial Pain certified him as a Diplomate in 1996. Dr. Abdallah has been on staff at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine since 1995 and is currently an Assistant Professor. He has published extensively and continues to lecture nationally and internationally in both Orthodontics and Orofacial Pain.
Leyla Masoudi, R.D.H. — Leyla graduated from the dental hygiene program at Mount Ida College. She lives in Needham with her husband and twin ten year old daughters. The new technology at Drs. Ali’s office has allowed her to provide a more thorough and efficient experience for her patients. She enjoys communicating with the patients and helping them understand what is happening in their mouths.
Tanya Ashmiana, R.D.H. — Tanya is a graduate of Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene. She has been with the Wellesley Dental Group for the last eight years, and lives in Sharon. Seeing the inner workings of dentistry here at the office helped her feel at ease with a decision to pursue dentistry as a career.
