Our team wants to wish you a Merry Christmas and happy holidays! We hope that you are staying warm and enjoying the company of family, friends, and loved ones. If you find yourself looking for things to do this holiday, look no further! There are a lot of fun and family-friendly events happening in the Metrowest and Boston areas! Here is a list of a few events and attractions all here in Massachusetts that will help you and your family celebrate this holiday season with happy smiles!

 

Boston Ballet: The Nutcracker, Boston.

November 28 – December 31

Check out the Boston Ballet’s Nutcracker at the Boston Opera House. Experience a winter wonderland and an extravagant performance that the whole family can enjoy!

 

Boston Symphony Orchestra: Holiday Pops, Boston.

Through December 31

The Holiday Pops are performing a holiday concert for all ages at the Symphony Hall in Boston. Don’t miss out on the beloved holiday music!

 

First Night, Boston.

December 31

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Boston’s First Night Festival of the Arts, which displays the work of 1,000 artists in 200 performances and exhibits throughout downtown Boston. The celebration typically lasts from 1 pm to midnight. Over 1 million people usually show up to this celebration which includes ice sculptures, crafts, music, dance, theater, art, performances, fireworks, film programs, and much more!

 

Ice Skating:Boston Common Frog Pond, Boston Common.

Hours: Mon 10am-4pm, Tue-Thu 10am-9pm, Fri-Sat 10am-10pm, Sun 10am-9pm.

Skating can be a fun way for the family to get active and enjoy the cool outdoors!

 

Mr. Punch’s Christmas Carol, Brookline.

December 24-28

Enjoy the puppet Mr. Punch staring as Ebenezer Scrooge in Charles Dickens’ classic Christmas story at the Puppet Showplace Theater!

 

Wellesley Free Library: Sing and Swing, Wellesley.

December 29

Bring your preschooler to Sing and Swing with Deb Hudgins in Wakelin Room from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at the Wellesley Free Library. There will be lots of singing, dancing and stories for your child to enjoy!
